The scarcity of local fossil fuel resources, our import-dependency and - last but not least - the rapid growth of supply costs draw more and more attention to alternative power sources and especially local renewable sources.

Hungary – thanks to its exceptional geothermal circumstances - is a major “thermal water power”. Our famous thermal bathes have served health tourism for over a half decade. Nonetheless, the heat content of thermal waters serves energy related functions as well: it is the optimal tool of decentralized heat supply while its comfort is practically equal to that of gas distribution which may be replaced by thermal water.
